Infosys, a global leader in digital services, has expanded its partnership with Meta to accelerate innovation in generative AI through open-source collaboration. Leveraging Meta’s Llama stack—an open-source suite of large language models—Infosys aims to democratize AI, creating industry-specific applications that enhance productivity and facilitate seamless AI integration across businesses. Central to this initiative is the new Meta Center of Excellence (COE) by Infosys, which is dedicated to supporting enterprise adoption of the Llama stack. The COE aims to nurture AI talent, create scalable AI use cases, and strengthen open-source contributions, accelerating adoption across sectors.
Infosys, an early adopter of Llama models 3.1 and 3.2, is embedding these technologies within Infosys Topaz, its AI-powered services suite. This integration has enabled the development of tools such as a Llama-powered document assistant to streamline contract reviews, achieving notable efficiency gains. Furthermore, Infosys has launched an AI Experience Zone in Bengaluru, offering clients a firsthand look at AI advancements developed with Meta’s support. Infosys executive Balakrishna D. R. emphasized the company’s dedication to open-source AI as pivotal for growth across industries. Meta India’s Sandhya Devanathan highlighted the alliance’s strategic role in fast-tracking digital transformation, enabling enterprises to innovate, scale, and remain competitive globally.
